A Message from the President

Assalamu alaikum,

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Whether you have been a part of our masjid family for a few months or many years, your presence has left a unique mark in the life of our masjid and our masjid family.  While our virtual relationship during the pandemic grew, we all have realized that there is no substitute for in person services.  We’ve missed seeing you and we’re excited to welcome you back and build an even stronger ICGT community!

As we return to normal, we are thrilled and look forward to all the opportunities for community and fellowship that we will share with one another.  Our Sunday programming is back in full swing.  Al-Nour Weekend school,  Pillars Youth and Sunday lectures give every age group an opportunity to truly learn about our religion in settings that inspire and invigorate thinking.  And what better way to reward yourself afterwards then by enjoying our traditional Sunday brunches!  If you haven’t had the chance,  please register your son or daughter in these programs and attend for yourself an enlightening Sunday lecture this week!

Our Pillars program has officially launched and we are so proud to have been able to share this amazing new program with our community.  Over 50 adults have registered for this Seminary program and I’ve heard nothing but great things from those who have attended so far!  Alhamdulillah, along with all the spiritual ILM, all proceeds made from enrollment will go straight to the Center to support its daily operations!

For the upcoming weeks and months, we’ve planned daily events and programs that we’d love to participate in with you. SAVE the DATE for our MAWLID event set for Friday, November 5th at 6:30 pm at the Center.  Below you’ll find details about all of our daily offerings along with many special events we have planned throughout the rest of the year!

As always, we look for your input and recommendations.  Please reach out to us if you have any questions or concerns.  This is your Masjid, your ICGT!  We cannot wait to see you all in the coming weeks and we look forward to creating new memories together at the Islamic Center of Greater Toledo.
